Dodge Island est une île artificielle jouxtée à Miami Beach, abritant un port industriel et une zone de chalandise touristique démesurée. Dans cet espace hybride, la propagation exponentielle se développe, évoquant le processus de colonisation d’une surface par de nouvelles formes de vie. La photographie se retrouve comme victime d’une infection. Vestige de la réalité relégué en arrière-plan, elle n’apparait plus que par d’étroites zones de réminiscence. Ces accumulations rappellent les systèmes actuels de surabondance et fragmentation.

Evolving landscape matrix. Composed in 3 dimensions
Dodge Island is an artificial island next to Miami Beach. It contains an industrial port and a vast touristic catchment area. In this hybrid space, an exponential propagation spread over depicting the way new forms of life colonize surfaces, as if the photograph were victim of an infection.
Vestige of reality relegated to the background, the photo no longer appears except as thin reminiscence areas. Accumulations remain the overabundance and splintering actual systems.
